Questions about membership

How can I change my bank account information?

This can be changed directly in the fit+ app.


Do you have questions about a payment reminder or a collection letter?

fit+ outsources its payment processing. All overdue payments are handled by our partner, the billing center. If multiple outstanding payments accumulate, they are referred to Cash Control, our debt collection service provider.

Please contact the sender of the letter directly to clarify the matter. fit+ has forwarded the claims and is no longer in a position to comment on them.

Is it possible to pause the subscription for a few months during the term?

Membership can be suspended with a temporary medical certificate from your treating physician.


What happens to my membership if I can’t work out due to illness?

You have the option to have the missed training time credited to your account. This means that you continue to pay your membership fees, and the “sick leave” will be credited as a fee-free period when your contract is next renewed. To do this, we need a current medical certificate from your treating physician that documents the exact period of illness.

Can I put my membership on hold or renew it as part of a corporate fitness partnership?

You have the option to place your membership on hold or extend the hold while you participate in a corporate fitness program. To do so, we need confirmation of your completed membership or renewal.

Can I transfer my membership?

If you no longer wish to continue your membership, we can offer the following goodwill solution: Find a new member for us who signs up for a new membership. Your membership will then be terminated at the start of the new member’s membership.

It is important that you notify us of the new member BEFORE the new membership is finalized.

How can I cancel my contract?

You can cancel your membership directly in the fit+ app or on the club websites using the cancellation form linked in the footer.


By how many months is the membership extended if you don’t cancel?

Membership is automatically renewed for an additional 12 months after the initial term.


What is the notice period before the membership expires?

The notice period is 3 months prior to the end of the term.


What should I do if I want to change my home studio?

If you want to transfer your home studio to a new location, you’ll need to sign up for a new membership at the new location. Your “old” membership will then be canceled when the new membership begins.

How can I contact the studio if something isn’t working?

How can I recommend fit+?

Many clubs offer a “Refer a Friend” promotion. It’s linked in the menu for all participating clubs. There, you can register yourself and your friend and receive a nice reward in return. Is your club not listed? Then unfortunately, this location doesn’t offer the promotion.


How do I schedule an appointment with a trainer?

Please contact your club directly regarding this matter.


I can’t remember my membership number. What should I do?

You can view your membership number in the fit+ app.
